Wesleyan Men
The WESLEYAN MEN meet for breakfast at 7:30am on the second Sunday of each month. This time is used for an inspiring devotion, business, and fellowship with other men of the faith. We share ideas that aid in becoming a positive influence at home and in our community with an overall goal of spreading God’s Word and becoming more Christ-like.
Projects in our church and community are an important part of the Wesleyan Men. Some of the things we are responsible for are mowing, landscaping, light construction, painting, etc. We also assist during workdays at victory Mountain Camp. We aid families in various ways and on Tuesday evening some of the men lead the praise and worship in one of the local nursing homes.
Many men participate in church sponsored sporting events such as softball, basketball, our annual golf tournament, and a fitness class. Along with being spiritually fit, these activities aid us in being physically fit.
We offer an annual district-wide Wesleyan Men’s Retreat at Myrtle Beach with activities of fishing, golfing, fellowship, and relaxation. At dinner we have an inspirational speaker.
The Wesleyan Men sponsor a Sweetheart Banquet in February which offers dinner and entertainment for our men and their significant other.
Fundraisers are conducted through out the year with all proceeds going to further the ministry.
